Qwest Electrical Contractors, in partnership with Myers & Chapman and MacGregor Associates Architects, delivered exceptional electrical solutions for the construction of The Home Depot’s state-of-the-art 603,000-square-foot distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina, situated on a 39-acre site.

As the trusted electrical contractor for the project, Qwest executed a comprehensive scope of work, including the installation of a robust 1.5-megawatt generator, multiple high-capacity switchboards, and paralleling gear to ensure reliable power distribution across the expansive facility. Our team installed over 112,000 feet of conduit in duct banks to seamlessly feed critical equipment and panels, supporting the facility’s high-demand operations. Qwest also provided a turnkey site lighting solution, enhancing safety and functionality across the site.

Additionally, we completed the electrical upfit for 20,000 square feet of modern office spaces, incorporating advanced systems and premium finishes to create efficient and professional work environments. Despite an exceptionally tight schedule, Qwest’s innovative approach and meticulous coordination ensured timely completion, optimizing move-in time for the owner.

This project highlights Qwest’s ability to deliver complex, high-performance electrical systems with precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to client success.
