General Projects

Hickory Ridge Elementary is a 125,000 Sq ft School that has multiple wings and levels. Along with the GC Leitner Construction, Qwest was able to help build this state of the art school.  

Qwest Electric was proud to be part of a project that encompassed two large scale industrial warehouses. With a total Square footage of over 300,000. Project Manager- Landon Bullock Project Superintendent   – Bob Ward

Qwest Electric Completed the Historic Lowenstein Upfit with General Contractor  J.M. Cope. This Project entailed up- fitting a textile Mill Into a Class-A office space, and building a brand New parking garage.  

This 5,000 acre design build gold mine project for Oceana Gold started in 2016 with J.M Cope and is currently still expanding. Electrical infrastructure included over 2,000’ of 35KV cable in 6” concrete encased conduit, 3 concrete manholes, one 750KV and one 300KVA transformers. Multiple support buildings included a 36,000 square foot Administration Building,

Qwest Electric LLC was selected by Graycor Construction to provide $3,000,000.00 in LED lighting and power upgrades to this 1.4 million square foot shopping mall in 2016. This renovation was completed in the evening and morning hours so as to not interrupt customer services.

A new 90,000 square foot science building was completed in 2014 with Messer Construction Co.. The Electrical scope included a 3,000 amp switchboard, 500KW diesel engine generator, UPS, dimming control panels, lightning protection system with solar and wind turbine infrastructures.  

Messer Construction selected Qwest Electric LLC to be part of their team to create the new Silverman Pavilion at 220 North Tryon St.. This uptown Charlotte location presented unique challenges with regards to craning & rigging equipment to create this event room for Receptions, Corporate Events and Non-Profits.
